What is Parking Mode?
ROVE offers an advanced inbuilt 24 hours triggered parking mode in its R2-4K. This mode in the dashcam ensures immediate recording whenever its G-sensor detects any motion while your vehicle is parked and the engine is off. Parking mode eliminates the need to leave the camera continuously On when you park your car, ultimately saving the cameras’ battery energy.
PARKING MODE IN DASHCAMS
What is Parking Mode in dashcams?
Parking mode automatically records incidents, like door dings or any vehicle smashing into your car for whatever reason -- while your car is parked.
The term 'Parking Mode' is used to express a video mode -- that enables the dash camera to capture videos when your car is parked and the engine is off.
Parking mode recording is also commonly known by numerous other names, such as "Sentry Mode," "Parking Surveillance," or "Parking Guard." This premium feature is only available in the best dashboard cameras, like the ROVE R2-4K dashcam.
The ROVE R2-4K dashcam's parking mode feature offers round-the-clock security and supervision of your vehicle. At the same time, it is parked -- by employing the parking mode feature.
Practically, it provides you with the ultimate relaxation of mind when you're away from your car.
ROVE R2-4k comes equipped with an impact detection sensor called G-sensor. It enables the parking mode to turn recording ON automatically for 1 minute -- whenever the camera shakes while your car is parked—for example, Hit-&-Run events.
After recording for 1 minute, it locks that video data safely to avoid deletion by the loop cycle feature and turns OFF automatically by itself. This sensitized Parking Mode feature in ROVE R2-4K dashcam restricts the camera's internal battery from being drained out.
How does parking mode work?
The parking mode in ROVE R2-4K dashcam is prepared to hibernate while your vehicle is parked.
The dashcam always stays alert to detect movement but does not record any file to the memory card yet. Once the G-sensor in the dashcam detects any activity, the recording turns ON immediately, helping in saving battery energy alongside minimizing needless recordings.
